Began the intricate study of jewellery making 67 years ago. In my early days survival after WWII drove me to perfect my skills ensuring I could earn a living helping my mother with household expenses. At Aurometal in the former Yugoslavia I quickly earned respect as a young Master Jeweller overseeing 200 workers. Shortly afterwards founding my own firm producing works of art for stores throughout the Mediterranean, highlighted by recreating the Moretti Jewellery for then President Tito. With war looming, moved my family and my firm to Toronto, Canada where I continued producing fine jewellery.
Commissioned to design a brand new RCMP Ceremonial Belt buckle and over 400 Canadian Military medals & insignia, I expanded my research into the art of minting. Creating silver coin for the 1984 Pope Visit, Switzerland’s 700 year anniversary, Supreme Court of Canada 120 year 70z commemorative medal, commemorating the 100 year sinking of the Titanic coin and the first ever Minted TimePiece, The Loon Watch.
